Since 1993, the youth of our community have enthusiastically embraced a journey that empowers each of them to realize the need for positive change and growth within our community as well as promotes their own personal growth.
Each spring, 30 students are chosen from Hirschi, Wichita Falls High School, and Rider High School to make up the Youth Leadership class. The class is introduced to several leadership-building programs from February through April. The Youth Leadership program is offered at no cost to the students that are selected to go through. One hundred percent of the program is underwritten through the generous donations by local businesses and organizations.
If you or a student that you know would be interested in participating, please contact the College & Career Counselor at any of the three high schools. Students must be in 10th or 11th grade and be in good standing with their school. For more information, you may also contact Janet Kaiser at janet.kaiser@healthlinedme.com.
